No one's going to notice your rocks...the subject matter is so thought provoking and your color palette is exquisite! Hoping 2012 will be full of hope and blessings for you.
Another stunning painting. I think everything works in this. One always is focused on the figures and lovely light in your paintings anyway. Don't stress about the rocks! Hope many blessings come your way in 2012!
The woman, the child behind her, the waves and rocks behind the child... these are beautiful. Great light, color, edges... who cares about the foreground rocks? Oh yes, you do. But I like those rocks, too: and I'm glad they're not too, too beautiful or I couldn't keep on looking at the woman, the child, the waves, the rocks behind the child. Such a beautiful painting.

ReplyDeleteThe damn rocks look pretty damned OK to me. Holding you and Janie in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know what you find wrong with these rocks?
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful painting Don, as always. Blessings and grace to you and Janey in the new year.
