Something sent me looking today, of all days after more than a year, to see what you were up to, and I found your moving cri de coeur. It is good that your faith comforts you now. I hope your painting will help to get you through the next months of separation.
Good afternoon Don, what a generous thing you've done to share this most private of times with Janey with us all. Her waiting for you was her final gift to you in this earthly realm, her spiritual comfort is your gift forever. May the Lord watch over you, guard your heart and mind, until such time as you are reunited with Janey and loved ones gone before you in eternity.
Dear Don, This is a wonderful video about your wife and being with her as she made the transition. I was with my Mother at the very end too...and I was so surprised how it was not a horrible moment, as I envisioned it might be. It's a good thing, to help people to understand that those final moments are not negative, but positive. I hope that you will continue to take comfort in the happiest memories. It is my firm belief that those we love who have "gone away" are actually standing right next to us, in the light.
