I started teaching myself to play an old upright I bought at an auction about two months ago and am progressing rather nicely for an old gal. It's great fun to learn to play especially when you choose a song you love to learn. I chose "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen and can play it through nicely.

Playing can be so fulfilling. Always make it fun for them and give them a choice of music and I bet they will enjoy it. Has one of them shown an interest in piano?

Have a safe summer!
